Antique Shakudo Pendant

Measuring approx. 1 5/8 x 1 inch, the front with a shakudo scene depicting a crane among flowers, in a 14k yellow gold frame. Set on the reverse with an intaglio carved with the letter D. Shakudo is a Japanese metalwork technique where different colors of metal (yellow gold, silver, and/or copper) are inlaid into a darkened copper base.
