Art Deco Tiffany & Co. Diamond Watch

Numerous Single, Round Brilliant & Rose cut diamonds weighing approx. 1.10ctw., suspended from a coordinating chain with fancy links terminating in a foliate motif set with three Old European cut diamonds weighing approx. 0.15ctw., fashioned in platinum. Watch dimensions 1 3/4 x 1/2 inch. Chain length 21 inches. Movement by C.H. Meylan. In the late 1800s, C.H. Meylan founded the Meylan Watch Company in Le Brassus, Switzerland. Over the next several decades, his company earned a reputation for excellence, producing some of the most scrupulous watch movements of the era that were used by renowned companies such as Tiffany & Co. Although the company was eventually sold to Baume Mercier and later ceased production, existing C.H. Meylan watches and movements have become highly sought after by collectors. This watch has been newly serviced by Tiffany & Co. and comes with a contemporary Tiffany & Co watch box.
